Remembering Vanessa: radiant, vivacious and enlightening At this most bitter sweet time, I feel incredibly blessed to have known Vanessa, my very much loved sister-in-law, for a little over the last decade. Nessa had a warm smile and was beautiful on the outside as she was also on the inside. She was a beautiful soul. Amongst her countless endearing qualities, was her ability to listen, truly and to understand, without judgement. At times in my life, Nessa shared my worries and I found her to be a refuge during a storm; even if one or two of them were in a teacup! Her love and her reassuring nature helped me to realise that I could constructively deal with any of life’s challenges. Nessa, I will cherish the time that we shared and you will remain forever in my heart and I know that your legacy will live on through the lives of all those who you have touched. With love, Cher.
